Important Information About Your Bill

Precertification

Insurance companies often require precertification for medical services. The precertification process requires communication and cooperation between you, your physician, your insurance carrier, and the Surgery Center. Insurance payments will be reduced if precertification is not obtained. Please contact your insurance company for their requirements of the medical services you are receiving.

Deposits

A deposit may be requested from you prior to services being performed. The deposit is for payment of the patient portion of the medical bill. This may not be the total amount owed after the insurance payment is received.

Surgery Center Billing

As a courtesy to our patients, we will bill primary and secondary insurance for you. You will be billed for balances not paid by your insurance company. Questions about your surgery center bill should be directed to:

Additional Billing

Services (if received) from Pathology, Radiology, Anesthesia, and Laboratory will result in additional billing from the provider of those services.
